Nestled in the heart of Michigan, and in those that call it home.
With a population of approximately 60,000 and total area of 576.9 square miles, you might not know about the county we call home. But do a little research and you will find out that Barry County Michigan is a special place. We share a border with six other counties in the state: Kent County, Kalamazoo County, Eaton County, Allegan County, Calhoun County, and Ionia County. You might say that we have a lot of friendly neighbours. The county seat is located in none other that Hastings - with a population of just over 7,000 people.
